Goals of Vestige

Our ambitious custom project aims to enhance the nostalgic Lineage 2 levelling experience, offering engaging and challenging dungeons and raids at every stage of the players' journey. Encounter monsters with newly designed abilities, crafted thematically for each challenge.


Embark on a new journey with activities that scale in difficulty as you progress through each Grade.

   

A new beginning

We've reimagined each class to provide exciting new abilities, bringing less played classes into the spotlight of PvP and PvE action. Every class is now capable of thriving independently. Additionally, we’ve introduced two new classes for the Dwarven race, with more coming soon for other races.

Classes Overhaul

Class Arch-types

Key Class Overhaul & General Changes:

◆ Support Classes: Redesigned for greater independence while still being a valuable asset to any party.
◆ Healers: Specialized abilities closely aligned with their thematic elements, enhancing their supportive role.
◆ Tanks: Improved control and durability, tailored to their elemental affinity and race.
◆ Rogues and Archers: Enhanced agility and lethality with new tricks and tools.
◆ Warriors: Boosted offensive capabilities and survivability.
◆ Mages: Increased devastation with enhanced Area of Effect and Debuff skills

◆ Warriors and Archers are now able to regain MANA via regular attacks
◆ New Utility and Quality of Life skills added to all Classes

Abilities

We have a new Ability Skill-trees available starting at level 21, players gain 1 skill point with each level.
Certain talents upgrade existing abilities for Classes in their respective tree.

Encounters Design

We will introduce the server in stages, focusing on developing hardcore raids and dungeons that require teamwork to conquer. Old-world bosses have been enhanced with additional effects and abilities, elevating them to their legendary status. The difficulty will increase progressively as players become more adept at what Vestige has to offer. Hunt for Legendary and Rare Items and rise to the status of an apex predator.

Gameplay Changes

General Changes

All players will be able to purchase common items such as soulshots, antidotes, elixirs, arrows etc. The obtaining of weapons/ armour/ jewels has been restricted the Community Board and Secret Shops.

Some of the major changes you can see below:

◆ New Armor & Jewel set bonuses + New Armour sets
◆ D / C / B -Grade equipment can be purchased/exchanged in Community Board Merchant
◆ A-Grade equipment recipes such as weapons, armors, jewellery can be found in dungeon and raid treasure chests /or purchased with unique currency via the Black market Merchant
◆ S-Grade recipes such as weapons, armors, jewellery can be found in dungeon and raid treasure chests /or purchased with unique currency via the Black market Merchant
◆ New Feature: Mercenary Companions for Hire
◆ General Buffs have been reworked into growing passives per level
◆ Health & Mana potions are now rare items - Effect is lost if damage is taken
